Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using VitrineList ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree to these terms, don't use the Service.

2. What the Service does

VitrineList lets you upload photos of an item and generates a listing title, description, tags, and other platform-specific fields using Claude, an AI model provided by Anthropic. The generated content is a starting point — you are responsible for reviewing it before publishing it anywhere.

3. Accounts

Some features require an account. Account sign-in is handled by our authentication provider (Clerk). You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload photos of illegal, stolen, counterfeit, or infringing items;
• Generate listings for items you don't have the right to sell;
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service;
• Use automated tools to send an excessive volume of requests outside your plan's limits.

5. Plans and billing

VitrineList offers a Free plan and paid plans (Starter, Pro) with different monthly listing limits and features, described on our pricing page. Paid billing is not yet active; when it launches, paid plans will be billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor, and you'll be able to cancel at any time from your account settings. Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice.

6. Your content and ownership

You retain all rights to the photos you upload and to the listing copy generated for you. We don't claim ownership over either. You're responsible for making sure you have the rights to any photo you upload.

7. AI-generated content

Titles, descriptions, tags, and other fields are generated automatically by an AI model and may contain inaccuracies — including incorrect materials, sizing, or condition. Always review generated content against the actual item before publishing a listing. VitrineList is not responsible for losses arising from inaccurate AI-generated content that you chose to publish without review.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for accounts that violate these terms.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, VitrineList is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including losses related to listings you publish based on generated content.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EU, this does not remove the mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in — those still apply to you.
